Dolan Ellis Scrapbook - Page 4

Tom Pickles, biographer for the New Christy Minstrels and the man responsible for the great re-releases of the Christies albums on CD, recently ordered this LP of Dolan's.  It was released around 1965, making it post-Christies and pre-Balladeer.  Tom scanned the cover, did some clean-up work, and made it available to us. 

Tom was at the Christies' Queen Creek Reunion Concert on Saturday night, April 2, 2005, but had to leave before the show started on Sunday.  Randy Sparks introduced him to the crowd, so we all know now that his day job is being a McDonald's executive. That job takes him all over the world.   

Thank you for this item, Tom, but especially for all you've done to make the New Christy Minstrels music available to a wide audience once again.
